Hello.
I'm Park Jong-yong, director of the Naeseolak Baekgong Art Museum. I believe that art is not just a way of looking, but a way of thinking that buries existence and gazes at life.
Our museum opened in 2011 to face the fundamental power of such art in the tranquil arms of Mt. Seorak.
With the will of the late lawyer Jeong Sang-rim, who was the first chairman of the board, it is currently operated under Park Jong-yong's system.
The spirit of white space - the aesthetics of the East that empties and empties and eventually fills up - is newly released in the language of contemporary art.
Through more than five exhibitions every year, we capture the flow of contemporary art, the artist's thoughts
We are creating an in-depth meeting place where the inner side of the audience intersects.
In addition, I would like to think about and practice the way art lives and breathes in the community through continuous exchanges with the community.
I hope that in this space where we reflect on the boundaries between nature and art, between existence and time, we will look further away.
